Trioptics machines are mainly used in research & development and in the production of camera lenses, camera objectives and modules. Optical test instruments represent an attractive niche within measurement technology, and play a critical role in the success of the entire lens and objectives manufacturing chain.
In 2015, Capiton acquired a minority interest in Trioptics in the course of a succession arrangement. In collaboration with the founder and principal shareholder, capiton continues to cautiously develop the company to increase its value, whilst also controlling the succession process.
