Together with SüdBG, Capiton acquired the svt group in 2008 in the context of an MBO in combination with an injection of growth capital. In 2015 svt was sold to IK Investment Partners.

svt is one of the leading providers of fire protection, fire restoration and environmental technology in Germany. During the investment period svt significantly extended its market position and its turnover in the fire protection and fire restoration sectors, and its employee numbers grew by 30%. A foundation was also established for further growth in the product business. Based on this promising outlook, svt was sold to IK Investment Partners in 2015.
