The services it offers focus on complex infrastructure projects in the areas of energy, water and hydroelectric power. In 2007 Capiton acquired the company from RWE Solutions, with the involvement of management, in the course of a carve-out. With the help of the management team, the company was successfully developed in subsequent years, in particular by refocusing on the core sectors of water and energy, but also through acquisitions in Germany, Turkey and the Philippines. Compliance mechanisms, so vital in this segment, were also successfully strengthened. After significant growth in turnover, Lahmeyer was sold to Tractebel Engineering in 2014.
