Kautex Maschinenbau is the leading manufacturer of extrusion blow moulding machines for the production of hollow plastic parts.

The machines are used in the automotive sectors – in the manufacture of tanks, for example – and consumer/industrial packaging. Since the carve-out from SIG Group in 2004, Kautex Maschinenbau has continued its development into one of the world’s leading companies for extrusion blow moulding machines with a turnover of over €100 million. The company has production sites in Germany and China, as well as a worldwide sales and service network. Capiton acquired an interest in the company in 2013 and sold its stake succesfully in 2018.
