Since its founding in 1963, the company has evolved from its origins as “Betonbau,” expanding its product portfolio to better reflect today’s business model as a one-stop-shop for system relevant energy grid solutions.

GRITEC’s broad product portfolio includes compact and walk-in turnkey transformer stations, PoP stations, and charging solutions for e-mobility. The company has successfully expanded its activities across all stages of the value chain, including planning and engineering, production of enclosures and various metal components, assembly of electronic components, testing and certification, transportation, installation, and ultimately replacement or renovation of old technical stations.

With five locations in Germany and one location in the Czech Republic, the GRITEC Group serves more than 1,000 public and private customers. These customers benefit from state-of-the-art solutions for their network infrastructure, which not only are reliable but also meet the increasing demands for energy efficiency and sustainability. In 2024, Capiton successfully sold its stake to the Viessmann Generations Group.
